Position Overview: This role offers psychological testing, therapy, consultation, and medication management services aimed at enhancing mental health for patients within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest. The practitioner serves as a valuable resource to physicians, hospital staff, and the community by promoting awareness of psychological principles beneficial for individual and group care.

Work Schedule: This is an on-site position with options for either 36 or 40 hours per week during day shifts.

Education:

• Must hold a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) credential.
• Licensed or license-eligible to provide medical care within the state.
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association) certification is required prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and must be maintained.

Experience:

• Preferred: At least one year of experience demonstrating competence in evaluation and medication management services.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to build rapport and consult effectively with all levels of medical and health center staff.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Exhibits strong socialization skills and appropriate interaction with staff and diverse clientele, even under stressful conditions.
• Models a stable lifestyle and personality, free from psychological or substance abuse impairments that could affect job performance.
• Willingness to cooperate with formal, independent psychological evaluation if concerns arise.
• Adheres to organizational personnel policies.
