Workers Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, contributing to the development of a statewide workers' compensation practice. Duties Handle day-to-day management of cases and hearings. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions. Guide clients through the case process. Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the NM State Bar Association. Minimum of 3 years of workers' compensation experience. Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active NM State Bar membership.
