Step into a dynamic school-based setting and make a real impact working with elementary and middle school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity near Watsonville, CA runs from August 6th to May 27th, offering the chance to support a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students. In addition to traditional school-based services, you’ll provide one weekly Home & Hospital visit, ensuring continuity of care for students needing extra support.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP - CCC required)
• Experience in school settings, specifically working with pediatric populations
• Strong background in providing SLP services at elementary and middle school levels
• Ability to manage a caseload averaging 55 students
• Flexibility to provide school-based and Home & Hospital services
• Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
• Provide weekly Home & Hospital visits for designated students
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Participate in case conferences, annual reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings
