Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations. This role requires a skilled individual with expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring the smooth functioning of our advanced manufacturing equipment and facilities.

• Work with motors, gearboxes, rigging, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, screw compressors, lubrication systems, vacuum, and fluid pumps.
• Install, adjust, or repair valves, pipes, and various fluid control devices.
• Handle multi-axis CNC machinery and controls, autoclaves, ovens, and conduct electrical troubleshooting with logic controllers and analog instrumentation.
• Install and modify plant power and lighting systems, including lights, electrical outlets, breakers, and junction boxes.
• Replace fuses and electrical components in systems up to 480V.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of HVAC units, freezers, and industrial fans.
• Provide facility support, including light plumbing, carpentry, basic welding, and machining or metal fabrication.
• Collaborate with equipment operators, work order originators, and Maintenance Department personnel to complete assignments.
• Support other Journeys and department personnel on combined electrical and mechanical projects.

• Four years of recent journey-level mechanical experience in industrial maintenance and repair.
• Strong emphasis on daily support of operations, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical service and systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and wiring instructions.
• Familiarity with 480V, 3-phase power, and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with programming of PLCs is a plus.
• Knowledge of common industrial components and equipment such as motors, valves, switches, sensors, and belt and chain drive mechanisms.
• Forklift, snorkel, and scissor lift certifiable.
• Experience with light carpentry, basic welding, and machining.
• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, including weekday and weekend overtime.
• Available to respond to off-hour emergencies and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Possession of own tools.
• Working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures in an industrial environment.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work at heights with fall protection or in confined spaces with protection.

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machinery and controls.
• Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting, including PLCs.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC units and freezers.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.

The pay range for this position is $74776.00 - $87984.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
