Machinist

A Machinist will utilize a variety of Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines to enhance overall productivity. Candidates must have experience with mills and lathes, both vertical and horizontal, and perform setups and operations of measuring machine tools to produce precision parts. Extensive experience with Mills and Lathe Machines is required.

Responsibilities:

• Run and maintain various CNC machines, including HAAS and Samsung models.
• Perform machine setups and operate measuring tools to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
• Utilize CNC mill and lathe techniques to achieve .001 tolerances.
• Program and operate machines using Fanuc controls.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal milling.
• Expertise in achieving precise tolerances of.001.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience within the past 5 years.
• Completion of a trade school certification will be considered.

Shift and Environment:

Climate controlled facility

Shift: 2nd - 330p - 2a, Mon-Th + Fridays as needed

Pay: $23 - $27 depending on experience.

Work Environment:

Work in a new, clean, fully climate-controlled manufacturing facility. The role includes three weeks of training on the day shift from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., before transitioning to the second shift from 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. The work schedule runs from Monday to Thursday, with voluntary overtime on Fridays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
