TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80112!

Job Title: ICU Float Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Must have 2 years of ICU experience. Prior travel experience is preferred. First-time travelers must have 3+ years of ICU experience and Epic experience. Candidates must be comfortable titrating all critical drips. Description: Candidates are expected to float throughout the assigned zone. They will cover a 60-mile radius from the designated city center. Travelers are responsible for obtaining housing that allows for floating within this radius. The orientation process must be attended in-person during the scheduled week. Travelers cannot miss more than 3 shifts in a 13-week contract. Shift scheduling may follow one of two formats: scheduled at a single facility or just-in-time assignments. May require weekends, with 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. May be asked to participate in holiday rotations. RNs are expected to read and interpret their own telemetry strips. There will be designated charge nurses, but they may have a small patient assignment if necessary. Designated respiratory therapists will typically assist in managing respiratory needs on the unit. Floating may involve moving to different acuity levels within the ICU and other related units. All time-off requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates should be flexible to help fill gaps in permanent scheduling as needed.
