Lathe Machinist

Lathe MachinistLathe Machinist should have 5 years experience with performing complex set ups on CNC Machinery.Responsible for testing CNC programs. Ensure the produced CNC programs are optimized. Performs adjustments to adhere to established specifications or revisions. Monitor machining times and optimize with CNC programmers. Maintain the jigs and fixture. Keep waste low, minimize scrap and account for all parts on the jobs. Improve on product output through additional operations such as multiple machine operation, deburring, cleaning, etc. Assist in other areas to meet production needs of customers. Comply with all PPE and machine guarding as necessary. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years machine shop experience.
