Mechanical Technician II

Marine MechanicR&P Technologies is looking for a motivated Marine Mechanic who want to join our team supporting various ship classes out of our Chesapeake Facility. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management, Technical Services, AIT services & repair to various government clients. We are in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Marine Mechanic to support the inspection, repair, and maintenance of, but not limited to, marine engines, propulsion systems, hydraulic components, and related Hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) equipment on board vessels. This position is crucial for guaranteeing the safe, efficient, and compliant functioning of the ship's machinery. The preferred candidate should possess intermediate skills in shipboard installation trades and be willing to learn the basics of electrical and electronic component assembly, installation, and repair methods.
