Whether youre advancing your career or growing your skillset, we are here to drive you forward./ph3Role Responsibilities/h3ulliDeliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and guiding them through paperwork processes./liliProcess and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including deal jackets, finance contracts, and DMV documentation./liliManage auction and appraisal transactions, ensuring accurate titles, payoffs, and proper documentation for funding./liliHandle cash management tasks, including receiving payments, preparing deposits, and maintaining security protocols./liliTrain and mentor new associates and support store operations by assisting multiple departments and balancing overflow traffic./liliPerform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and reconciliation of missing information while maintaining accuracy./liliFollow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliAbility to read, interpret, and record data accurately for compliance and reporting./liliStrong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems with intermediate PC skills./liliEffective verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions./liliAbility to lift up to 20 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods./liliCommitment to confidentiality, integrity, and adherence to CarMax policies./liliFlexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays./li/ulpCarMax is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law./ppThe hourly rate for this position is:/pp$16.00 - $25.60/ppBenefits:/ppExcept as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time./ppAssociates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:/pulliTo earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company./liliFor 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday.
