About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evening and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Emergency Department, including travel experience. License: Current state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC and/or ATCN, ENPC and/or PALS. Must-Have: - Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. - Skilled in ventilator management, IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation. - Trauma Level 1 experience preferred. Description: Must be available to work during holidays, including 4th of July and Labor Day weekends. Position requires evening shifts from 15:00 to 03:30 and night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Must demonstrate the ability to manage trauma patients effectively. Dysrhythmia management skills will be assessed through a test. Experience with a minimum of 175 visits per day is beneficial. Candidates are required to work every other weekend. Prior experience in a Level 3 trauma center or higher is preferred. No on-call or floating requirements within the facility. Healthcare professionals will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams. The unit may care for a diverse patient population, including trauma and underserved groups. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role. Emergency services are available 24 hours. Travelers will not have charge responsibilities but may be oriented to triage on a case-by-case basis. Candidates should be flexible with their availability to meet unit demands. Specialized equipment experience is preferred. Compliance with all training and competency assessments is required. References from previous supervisors are preferred at the time of submission.
