This position supports production and shipping operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely material movement, and following established safety, quality, and operational procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklift and other material handling equipment to transport materials, products, and supplies throughout the facility.Remove, replace, label, and store racks and materials from the production floor in designated locations.Wrap bins and prepare materials for storage or shipment according to established procedures.Assemble and prepare vinyl slides and related packaging materials as required.Receive incoming materials and shipments in accordance with company procedures and inventory control requirements.Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory control activities to maintain inventory accuracy.Expedite parts and materials to support production schedules and customer requirements.Rotate inventory using established stock rotation methods and maintain proper material identification.Maintain forklift equipment through daily inspections and reporting of maintenance or safety concerns.Ensure proper disposal and reporting of scrap materials in accordance with company procedures.Perform housekeeping duties within the facility and designated outdoor areas to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Communicate effectively with customers, production personnel, warehouse staff, and supervisors regarding material needs and inventory issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.Working ConditionsWork is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with frequent exposure to moving equipment, forklifts, trailers, noise, dust, and varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.Requires frequent operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment, as well as prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Requires continuous attention to safety, material handling accuracy, and awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic throughout the facility.RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Previous forklift operating experience required.Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification preferred.Knowledge of and commitment to workplace safety regulations and safe forklift operating practices.Ability to safely push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Basic computer skills and experience working with inventory systems preferred.Strong organizational and inventory control skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.Must Pass a Background & Drug ScreenSteeled-toed BootsSchedule & PayShift: 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm until 7:00 amPay: $19.25 per hour- PLUS OVERTIMEBenefits (through CloudRay)Weekly pay Health insurance Incentives and performance-based bonuses Referral bonuses Temp-to-hire career growth potentialLocation AdvantageJob is commutable from Tanner, Decatur, Huntsville, Madison, AL and Athens.
