Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Tue04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Fri04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sat04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sun04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances, greeting and directing visitors, and/or reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site guidelines. Support a professional environment by observing daily activity, reporting hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and helping to deter disruptions through a visible presence and courteous communication. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
