About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the finance function and supporting the accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing strategic insights, and decision support. This role requires a dynamic individual who can make a high impact from the outset, and who is adept at overseeing financial operations, managing multiple vendors, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, taxes, and annual audits. The Head of Finance will also be instrumental in building and improving scalable finance systems, with a focus on automation and AI to enhance efficiency and reporting quality. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have around 10 years' experience in strategic finance, with a preference for those who have worked in a startup environment. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in managing finance and accounting functions, and while a CPA is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement. Strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to the ever-evolving AI and technology landscape are essential.
