Supply Chain CoordinatorThe Supply Chain Coordinator is a tactical team member that has responsibility for providing administrative support to both the Supply Chain and Production teams through purchasing, inter-site distribution orders, and paperwork generation. This position will uphold the Hydrite "Standards of Excellence" through the continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.Primary responsibilities include:Responsible for purchasing bulk and non-bulk chemical and non-chemical supplies that aid chemical manufacturing for plants within the assigned region.Lead the inventory management function through optimizing planning, production, inventory, and supply chain processes.Generate necessary paperwork to transfer manufacturing orders from ERP to the production floor.Analyze/plan future demand for MK1 warehouse through inter-site distribution orders.Work with supply chain, production, interbranch, purchasing, and customer service to ensure inbound and outbound orders are executed safely and efficiently.Complete specific customer data entry for department to support planning needs.Lead and participate in efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Process purchase orders for production supplies.Implement safety improvements through effective vendor management as well as manage the supplier corrective action request program. Manage inventory of partial containers to drive to resolution.Assist in other duties as assignedUphold Hydrite's Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers.Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.All staff members are responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor upon observation of a known or potential issue.Responsible for leading and driving the Hydrite safety Vision, Mission and Values as outlined in SF063AF.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to production scheduling, inventory management, and workplace safety.Reporting StructureThis position reports to the Plant Manager.Preferred ExperienceBachelor's degree is required. Preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.1-3 years' experience minimum in a purchasing or material management role.APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) preferred.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering results.Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.Previous work in MRP and ERP preferred.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Self-motivated and can initiate continuous improvement projects.Ability to read, write, and speak English.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques is a plus.Additional BenefitsBenefits and perks include 401k and profit sharing, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, legal services insurance, scholarship awards for children of employees, summer picnic, community giving events, free family wellness coaching including nutritionist and fitness coach.
