Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a pediatric setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

• Pediatric ultrasound setting within a children's hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Wednesday and Thursday 5:00 PM–5:30 AM, Friday 5:30 PM–7:00 AM); schedule may be adjusted based on unit needs
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience; 3+ years preferred
• Pediatric experience is required
• Current BLS and ARDMS certification required
• Active license required if applicable
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not accepted

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved if not included at the time of initial consideration
• If any certifications are set to expire during the assignment, a renewal plan should be included with your profile
• Vaccination status should be included with your profile
• Travelers who were previously employed at the facility as permanent or internal staff must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and/or New Year's fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of 3 holidays if all three occur, or at least 1 if only 2 fall within the assignment
