Job Description Job Description Multiple Apartment Communities | Portland, OR We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance and repairs across multiple apartment communities (100+ doors) throughout Portland. This role is ideal for someone who works well independently, enjoys problem-solving in the field, and takes pride in keeping properties safe and well maintained. This is an active position that includes on-call and after-hours responsibilities . Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs in occupied units and vacant apartments Complete unit turnovers, including punch lists and basic repairs Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Patch drywall, paint, replace fixtures, and perform minor flooring repairs Troubleshoot appliances and coordinate repairs or replacements Maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems Conduct regular property walks to identify maintenance or safety issues Respond to after-hours and emergency maintenance calls Coordinate and communicate with Property manager, vendors and contractors as needed Safely use ladders and work at heights for tasks such as lighting, gutters, exterior repairs, and inspections Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Previous maintenance experience in property management or apartment maintenance preferred Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to work independently or ina team enviroment Reliable personal transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Helpful Skills Experience with unit turns and preventative maintenance Basic appliance repair experience Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem-solve on the spot Good communication and customer service skills Familiarity with work order systems (AppFolio a plus) Having own hand tools a plus Company Description We are an owner operated business with rental properties throughout Portland and Vancouver area.
