Saint Mary's College of California – ADJUNCT FACULTY (SOLA) Department of Performing Arts Location: Saint Mary's College of California, Moraga, California. Position: Instructor for DANCE 112/212 – West African Dance (Fall 2026) Course Description This in‑person course introduces students to the arts of West African dance from Ghana, covering music, dance history, culture, etiquette, and application in social settings and stage performances. Responsibilities Teach DANCE 112/212 to undergraduate students in the Fall 2026 term, including delivering lectures, leading in‑class movement activities, and providing feedback to students on performance and analysis. Serve as accompanist for the class. Qualifications Several years of experience teaching West African Dance at the college level. Able to serve as accompanist for the class. Residency in California. Compensation Salary range as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU Local 1021.
