The Manager, Integrated Marketing will be responsible for:
Strategic Positioning: Using customer data and insights, business performance, and competitive intelligence, lead a team to create differentiated positioning for Petco's Health & Wellness offerings, reinforced through messaging, and brought to life via world-class marketing execution.
Marketing Planning: Lead the marketing planning process for businesses and initiatives, including crafting and owning the marketing strategy, integrated marketing plan, and budget.
Integrated Execution: Lead the orchestration of enterprise-wide integrated marketing activations in partnership with cross functional business and marketing leaders. You'll ultimately be accountable for the integrated brief through to the tactical execution and results across all channels (including but not limited to media, owned channels like email, and in-store signage) to drive traffic and purchases in our Petco Care Centers and on Petco.com.
Team Development: Lead and develop a team of Integrated Marketers that support Petco brand activities
Essential Knowledge & Skills
Education & Experience:A bachelor's degree and at least ten years' experience as a B2C marketing leader, ideally in an integrated marketing or agency role.
People Management Experience: Experience hiring, developing and leading a team of direct and indirect reports
Strategy & Execution: Proven ability to lead the integrated marketing process end-to-end, from writing a marketing plan to coordinating flawless execution.
Creative Acumen: Ability to partner with agencies and in house creative teams to objectively evaluate creative against a strategic brief and deliver feedback in a way that clearly and effectively sets direction and inspires the team.
Financial Management: Manage media and production budgets including planning and reconciling spend by month and quarter.

Requires the ability to lead complex projects while demonstrating flexibility, business acumen and critical thinking.

Requires the ability to listen, synthesize, lead, explain and communicate at all levels of management and functional disciplines. Communicates information clearly, concisely, and professionally. Tailors communication style and content to the audience. Proactively shares timely updates and information with relevant parties.
Establishes Trust: Follows through on commitments. Is honest and direct in dealing with people. Promotes a culture of respect for, commitment to, and compliance with Company values, beliefs, and standards. Ensures the protection of confidential information.
Independent Worker: Ability to prioritize and balance time, actions, resources and initiatives to ensure achievement of critical goals, optimize potential benefit and minimize risk. This position is deadline-intensive and requires the ability to gracefully and seamlessly handle multiple tasks while simultaneously.

Analyzes critical issues, trends, and root causes, and identifies the solutions that best address them. Probes and looks past symptoms to determine the underlying causes of problems and issues.
Makes Informed Judgments: Makes sound business decisions based on insight and analysis. Chooses the best alternative based on consideration of pros, cons, tradeoffs, timing, and available resources. Makes decisions that contribute to company performance. Makes timely decisions regarding problems/issues requiring immediate attention.
Meets Customer Needs: Identifies customer trends, expectations, and needs. Ensures that feedback from customers is leveraged to identify improvement opportunities. Ensures follow-up with customers to confirm problems are solved. Continually searches for ways to improve customer service (including the removal of barriers and providing solutions).
Plans & Manages Execution: Develops realistic plans (e.g., action steps, timelines) to accomplish objectives. Prioritizes and balances time, actions, resources, and initiatives to ensure achievement of critical goals. Holds him/herself and team accountable for outcomes (e.g., achieving goals and complying with policies and procedures). Anticipates and removes obstacles, redirecting efforts to accelerate the work or improve quality.
