Print Press and Bindery Operator – Part-Time Join to apply for the Print Press and Bindery Operator – Part-Time role at Omnipress Hours Part-Time Afternoon: 4-5-hour shift between the hours of 10 am – 10 pm Hourly Rate TBD, based on experience and qualifications Job Description This position supports the creation of high-quality printed and digital materials by running print and bindery machines, ensuring every order meets the customer’s expectations. This role thrives on teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Operate a variety of equipment, including digital printers, cutters, folders, and bindery machines, to complete jobs efficiently and accurately. Follow detailed job tickets to ensure proper specifications are met for each project. Conduct quality checks throughout production and verify the finished product before shipping. Collaborate closely with coworkers and leadership to align on project timelines, priorities, and changes. Support a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and participating in training programs (e.g., forklift certification, lockout/tagout). Perform daily equipment upkeep and communicate maintenance needs or mechanical issues to the appropriate team members. Suggest process improvements and share ideas or concerns to help optimize workflow and productivity. Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment as needed.
