No experience with manufacturing maintenance required!Sumitomo is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team! Wage range is based on experience! Brief description: With limited supervision and technical guidance, keep plant machinery and mechanicals in good working order. Troubleshoot and problem-solve various manufacturing machines.Job duties and responsibilities include:Examine machines to diagnose issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operationRepair CNC machines and/or roboticsMay occasionally make replacement partsClean filters and general PM on coolant systems and mist collection componentsChanging or adding oils and lubricants to production equipmentGeneral cleaning and organization of tools and maintenance areaMay need to provide work training to less experienced maintenance staffWhat skills and experience are needed:Ability to work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidanceAbility to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisorsPreventive industrial maintenance experience preferred, but not requiredExperience with CNC grinding, machining equipment, or HVAC a plus, but not requiredGeneral knowledge and skill with basic hand toolsAbility to lift 50 lbs+Exceptional benefits:Outstanding Medical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) Match $ for $ up to 4%!!Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Basic Life InsuranceMany additional benefits available!!Work environment: Well-lit and clean machine shop with moderate noise.
