For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: We are seeking a strong Project Manager with Finance Transformation experience to join a newly evolving Treasury transformation initiative. The organization is building new processes around cash management and debt management and is currently moving from design into testing and implementation. This role will provide critical Project Management support across multiple high-priority Finance transformation workstreams with significant cross-functional impact across Finance, Treasury, IT, and Legal. The ideal candidate is approximately 70% strong Project Manager / 30% Finance professional. You do not need to be a debt management or Treasury subject matter expert, but you should be comfortable speaking the language of Finance and understanding financial governance, controls, processes, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Drive day-to-day execution across multiple Finance transformation workstreams. Establish and maintain detailed project plans and milestone tracking. Coordinate approximately three globally distributed cross-functional teams. Partner with Finance, Treasury, IT, and Legal. Manage dependencies across interconnected workstreams. Track risks, issues, actions, and decisions. Provide regular status updates to Transformation Leads and executive stakeholders. Ensure milestones and deliverables remain on track. Support governance and control requirements. Incorporate change management checkpoints into project planning and execution. Support workflow and technology implementation activities. Help identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. Coordinate testing, simulation, and implementation activities. Ensure project documentation and processes are maintained. Work closely with the Finance PMO and assigned PMO buddy to align with established PM practices. Qualifications 7+ years of strong Project or Program Management experience. Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives. Finance background or significant experience working within Finance organizations. Strong project governance, milestone tracking, and execution skills. Experience working across business and IT teams. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Experience with process optimization, controls, or workflow transformation. Comfortable operating in an evolving environment where processes are still being built. Strong organizational skills and ability to bring structure to ambiguous projects. Finance / Treasury Experience The ideal candidate will have exposure to some combination of: Treasury transformation Cash management Debt management Capital management Bank reporting Debt covenants Compliance reporting Finance transformation Candidates do not need to be Treasury or Debt Management specialists. The ideal profile is a very strong PM who understands Finance and can speak the language , rather than a Treasury practitioner who happens to have some project management experience. Governance & Controls A strong governance and controls mindset is critical . Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience with: Tracking controls and control requirements. Monitoring milestones and compliance activities. Supporting testing and validation. Identifying gaps and risks. Creating accountability across multiple teams. Reporting progress and issues to senior leadership. Specific debt or covenant experience is a plus, but candidates from other industries may be successful if they have demonstrated strong governance and controls experience. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
