Our client, an industry leader in printing and publishing, is seeking a Press Assistant to join their team. As a Press Assistant, you will be part of the production department supporting the press operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Assistant

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Pay Range: $14.5

Shift: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Preparing plates for the press to ensure smooth printing operations
Assisting the Press Operator in placing plates on the press equipment
Monitoring the press during operation to maintain quality standards
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the production process

Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Availability to work the specified shift hours
