Library Branch ManagerThe County of San Luis Obispo Public Libraries is seeking a customer service-oriented library professional to manage all aspects of operations at the Nipomo Library. The Library Branch Manager's responsibilities include managing day-to-day branch processes, supervising front line staff, providing programming, delivering outreach services in the Nipomo Community, and working cooperatively with the Friends of the Library volunteer support group.To be successful in this role, the Library Branch Manager must have the ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision making with minimal supervision, along with the capacity to be a flexible team member that can balance competing demands. Must possess the aptitude and desire to consistently demonstrate excellent quality customer service. Preferred skills include supervisory experience and Spanish bilingual skills. A California Driver's License is required. Must work evenings and weekends.Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree AND two years library experience.Applications, including answers to supplemental questions, must be submitted online by the final filing date.
