Assistant General Manager (Beaverton, OR)

Job Location: 11995 SW Beaverton Hillsdale, Beaverton, OR 97005 Salary Range: $58,656.00 - $68,700.00 Responsibilities Assist the General Manager with overseeing the entire restaurant operation. Maintain a safe environment and improve profitability through revenue management. Supervise operations on a shift‑by‑shift basis. Assist with team staffing planning and hiring decisions for all departments. Conduct weekly manager meetings in partnership with the General Manager. Create and implement incentive programs and contests with Department Managers. Motivate Team Members to participate in company promotions and incentives. Provide regular performance feedback and recognition to Department Managers and Team Members, including timely performance appraisals. Coach other managers on effective performance management procedures. Facilitate and ensure adherence to food product rollouts and quality standards. Ensure departments meet or exceed service quality, recipe adherence, and portioning standards. Communicate opportunities for improvement to Department Managers. Educate managers and team on quality, service, cleanliness standards and inventory levels. Analyze performance tools such as GEM, QSCs, audits, and P&L; troubleshoot issues and create action plans. Conduct administrative manager functions including invoicing, inventory, and end‑of‑day procedures. Monitor maintenance and manage the preventive maintenance program. Hold Department Managers accountable for cost control and proper inventory levels. Participate in departmental meetings and communicate successes and opportunities. Establish daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections. Understand the P&L statement; create action plans for problem areas. Assist the General Manager in developing the annual restaurant budget. Teach Department Managers how to meet or exceed budgeted profit goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. Support and inspire Team Members to deliver top‑tier service and fan experiences. Assist in coaching, training, and developing the team. Help execute daily operations, ensuring quality, speed, and accuracy. Step in where needed—front of house, back of house, bar, or takeout—to keep operations running strong. Help maintain a clean, safe, compliant environment. Support promotions, local marketing efforts, and in‑store fan engagement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of restaurant or leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and responsible alcohol service.
