About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Healthcare Compliance to play a pivotal role in the development and administration of its global corporate ethics and healthcare compliance program. The successful candidate will be a key partner to all departments, particularly in the commercial, medical, and market access areas, to ensure the successful and compliant launch of the company's first commercial product. This foundational opportunity requires a dynamic compliance leader with a proven track record in building and scaling compliance programs, particularly in the biopharmaceutical industry. The role demands a hands-on approach, the ability to operate independently, and a commitment to championing a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Healthcare Compliance include contributing to the design and operationalization of the global healthcare compliance program, developing and executing a risk-based monitoring and auditing plan, and serving as a subject matter expert on healthcare fraud and abuse laws. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree, with an advanced degree being a plus, and at least 15 years of experience in global compliance within the biopharmaceutical industry. Direct experience in creating and enhancing compliance programs, as well as familiarity with EU/EFPIA compliance requirements, is essential. The role requires a strategic, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.
