Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | On-call required: up to 2 weekend call shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) per 4-week scheduling period | Holiday work required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a wide range of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a high-volume, fast-paced Level I Trauma Center environment
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float within scope to meet unit needs, including between like units or sister facilities as required
• Participate in on-call shifts and holiday coverage per scheduling requirements
• Adhere to emergency response protocols, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge compliance (badge provided)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
