Quality Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that only the finest products reach our customers. As part of a collaborative team, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients' labels and packaging to life, helping them stand out in a competitive market.

Shift: 8am-4:30pm (some flexibility)

Pay: $22-$26/hr (Depends on experience. May consider higher pay for direct experience)

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile data from these tests.
• Assist with maintaining the quality and reliability of products.
• Support the Operational Excellence Manager with ISO and BRC quality systems.
• Help increase awareness among staff to eliminate defects based on findings.
• Work closely with all departments to improve the level of service and quality provided to our customers.
• Assist with developing and maintaining SOPs in compliance with ISO standards.
• Identify, recommend, and implement areas for Lean improvement or modification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification in basic HACCP.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Preferred: Two or more years of direct work experience in a quality control capacity in the printing industry.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and BRC quality systems is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized printing manufacturer facility with shifts available from 8am-4pm or 11pm-6am, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
