Eye Physicians & Surgeons, PC in Decatur, GA is seeking a skilled and passionate Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist at our practice, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients by providing top-notch eye care services. Join us in our mission to improve vision and eye health for our community!
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams
- Perform visual field testing and pre-testing
- Prescribe and fit contact lenses
- Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
- Provide patient education on eye care and treatment options
- Referral to ophthalmology or other specialists when necessary
Required Skills:
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry degree
- Experience with visual acuity testing and refraction
- Proficiency in conducting eye exams and diagnosing ocular diseases
- Knowledge of optical coherence tomography and autorefractors
- Ability to perform cataract evaluations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with vision therapy and low vision services
- Familiarity with medical insurance billing and coding
- Interest in primary care optometry
