Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role involves providing specialized perioperative patient care within an acute care setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position entails working during daytime hours with a schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia
• Shift Schedule: Days7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weekends as scheduled
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid license to submit
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room
  • No specific education or degree requirement listed
  • No specific location requirement listed
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with all areas of the OR
  • Cross-training experience in Endoscopy (Endo)
  • Experience operating Baxter pumps, Phillips and Dynormap robots
  • Experience with the DaVinci Robot considered a significant plus
  • ACLS certification preferred due to sedation procedures
• Additional Information:
  • No prescreen required for the OR
  • Experience with Vascular, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Eyes, and ENT cases except open hearts
  • Procedures excluding open heart surgeries
  • Approximately 65 cases daily, with about 25 in Endo Suites
  • 11 total operating rooms, including OR Suites and Endo Suites
  • Call responsibilities include one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and one weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) up to 24 hours every 3 months
  • Charting system: EPIC
  • Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
