RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Weekends as scheduled
• Call rotation required: one weeknight call every 4 weeks from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and one weekend call shift on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday up to 24 hours per 3-month contract
• Experience required in all areas of the operating room
• Cross-training to Endoscopy procedures provided
• Work with 11 total rooms: 8 OR suites and 3 Endoscopy suites
• Handle approximately 65 cases per day with 25 cases in Endoscopy suites
• Operate Baxter pumps, Phillips and Dynomap robots
• DaVinci Robot experience highly preferred
• Handle all surgical cases except open heart procedures including vascular, general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, and ENT
• ACLS certification preferred due to modern sedation protocols
• Use EPIC charting system
• Required certifications: BLS Certification
• Must reside within 50-mile radius and provide copy of unexpired driver's license
• West Virginia nursing license required
• BSN not required
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract

This Level 2 trauma center operates as a comprehensive acute care facility with a state-of-the-art surgical department featuring 11 operating rooms including dedicated endoscopy suites. The facility handles a high volume of diverse surgical cases and has recently incorporated advanced robotic surgical technology. The organization maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex surgical procedures while providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
