Responsibilities The Minnesota Mayo Clinic Health System Division of Psychiatry and Psychology seeks supplemental NPs or PAs to cover vacations, CME, and leave of absences for our inpatient NP/PA psychiatry team. The team runs a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Inpatient units are located in Albert Lea, MN and Mankato, MN, and coverage may be performed virtually, in person, or in a hybrid fashion. Ideal candidates demonstrate strengths in both pharmacological and nonpharmacological management of psychiatric conditions and possess strong patient interviewing and history‑taking skills for effective care coordination. Qualifications Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school and NP program. Current Minnesota RN and APRN license and certification as FNP or ANP. Doctorate preferred. PMHNP‑BC strongly preferred. Physician Assistant: Graduated from an accredited PA program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. CAQ in psychiatry strongly preferred. Eligibility for DEA registration and billing privileges. BLS certification required. Additional Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider with at least 1 year inpatient behavioral health direct patient care.
