Oakview Constructors, Inc. is seeking a dependable, organized construction professional to support our Project Manager and public works construction projects. This position is well suited for someone who is comfortable managing project documentation, communicating with subcontractors, and keeping bid and project information moving accurately and on time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and track project-specific RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders and submittals.
Prepare and complete subcontractor agreements using company forms and project information.
Maintain daily communication by email and telephone with project teams, subcontractors, vendors and other project contacts.
Prepare and submit contractor prequalification packages.
Email and call subcontractors to solicit bid proposals and follow up on outstanding pricing.
Complete bid forms and assist the bid package preparation and submission.
Occasionally attend jobsite and project meetings.
Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Project Manager.
What We Are Looking For:
The strongest candidates will have experience in commercial, public works, or general construction and understand construction documentation and bidding workflows. Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, subcontractor communication, prequalification packages, and bid forms is highly desirable. Strong written communication, follow-through, organization, accuracy, and comfort working by phone and email are important for this role.
Compensation & Schedule:
Starting Salary : 83,200 - $91,520 annually, depending on qualifications and experience
Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM.
Medical insurance available after 90 days of employment.
Primary office location: Calimesa, California; occasional jobsite meetings required
