Job Title: Mill Machinist

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled 1st shift CNC Machinist to mill details from plate or flat stock according to blueprints to exact dimensions, and to mill details of various shapes and materials

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Use measuring tools accurately
• Sharpen cutting tools as needed
• Perform own set-ups for milling operations
• Download and alter programs if necessary
• Machine materials to print specifications
• Operate overhead crane as required

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience operating a 3-axis mill
• Ability to read digital micrometers and calipers
• Experience with G&M code editing
• Ability to set up machines, including downloading programs, obtaining tooling, offsetting parts, fixturing parts, and making G&M code edits with Fanuc controllers

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Auburn Hills,MI.
