As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to security-related alarms and incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at an industrial distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies. Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Observe access points, loading areas, and perimeter activity through patrols and available monitoring systems, reporting unauthorized activity or irregular conditions. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Document daily activities, visitor activity, incidents, and policy violations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Have access control and badge experience preferred. Have alarm panel experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
