As a Security Officer Full Time - Plant Access in Fountain Inn, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and supports a positive workplace environment.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
