We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, fostering a positive workplace culture, and helping drive organizational success in a manufacturing environment. Position Summary The Human Resources Professional serves as the primary resource for employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, compliance, and employee development initiatives. This position works closely with company leadership and department managers to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, approachable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding activities. Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions, concerns, and HR policy guidance. Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, and related employee communications. Process and coordinate payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation. Manage timekeeping records, attendance tracking, and related reporting. Assist with performance review processes and employee development initiatives. Support employee relations activities and help resolve workplace concerns. Coordinate leave administration including FMLA, workers’ compensation, and other employee leave programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Prepare HR reports and maintain confidential employee information. Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance HR efficiency and the employee experience. Team Collaboration Partner with department managers to support hiring, employee development, and workforce planning initiatives. Collaborate with finance and leadership teams regarding payroll, benefits, and employee records. Learn and utilize the company’s ERP, and payroll management systems. Support training initiatives and employee engagement programs. Participate in cross-functional projects that contribute to organizational growth and continuous improvement. Continuously develop knowledge of employment regulations, HR best practices, and manufacturing workforce needs. Qualifications & Skills Required Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations. Experience processing payroll and maintaining payroll-related records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Human Resources experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience with HRIS, ERP, and payroll systems. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR. Experience with benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and leave management. Compensation & Benefits Negotiable and competitive compensation ranging from $75,000-95,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
