Role Description The Assistant Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL. This position supports the Project Manager in coordinating daily project activities, including scheduling work, communicating with subcontractors and vendors, and tracking project milestones. Responsibilities include assisting with procurement and expediting of materials, monitoring inspections and quality checks, and helping manage logistics such as deliveries and on-site resources. The role also involves maintaining project documentation, preparing status reports, and helping ensure compliance with safety and building standards. The Assistant Project Manager collaborates with field teams and office staff to resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving efficiently.
Qualifications

• Experience with expediting and expeditor responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Skills in project management, including scheduling, scope tracking, and coordination of project tasks.
• Knowledge of inspection processes and quality control practices in construction or related fields.
• Logistics management skills for organizing deliveries, resources, and on-site workflow.
