About the Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HSE Advisor (HSE Lead) to join our team at Virginia. This role is all about partnering with leaders and teams to build a proactive safety culture where every person goes home safe every day. You'll provide expert guidance across health, safety and environmental activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead risk management programs, and support compliance with legislative and company standards across site. What your days look like Coach, influence and support leaders to strengthen HSE capability across the site Lead risk assessments, safety initiatives, audits and workplace inspections Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions Deliver HSE training, safety awareness programs and compliance activities Support injury management, wellbeing initiatives and environmental programs Partner with operational, engineering, maintenance and quality teams to improve safety outcomes The Ingredients for Success Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role; Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health or a related discipline Experience in a Senior HSE Advisor, HSE Lead or similar role within manufacturing, FMCG, industrial or another high-risk environment Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, compliance requirements and risk management principles Proven experience conducting incident investigations, audits, inspections and risk assessments Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and coach people at all levels A practical, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement and building a positive safety culture Why You’ll Love It Here You’ll join a business with some of Australia's most loved brands, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, people and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.
