Qualifications Approximately 3 years of experience in Assurance. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. Working toward CPA. Previous public accounting experience preferred. Team player and ability to work well in a group. Detail and task oriented. Adequate research and writing skills. Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients. A competent working knowledge of accounting and audit software required. Proficient in QuickBooks. Responsibilities Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues. Developing an understanding of the audit approach and tools. Assessing risks and evaluating the client's internal control structure. Performing analytics, substantive tests, and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues. Drafting financial statements.
