A Day in the Life

The phone rings. A driver is on the shoulder with a mechanical issue. You calmly walk them through the breakdown protocol, pinpoint the nearest capable vendor, and coordinate towing. If needed, you source a rental to keep deliveries on schedule. After the fix, you verify the invoice, update warranty details, and capture every note so maintenance teams can follow through. That’s the rhythm — rapid response, clear communication, and meticulous follow-up.

What You’ll Own

Driver Support & Communication

• Respond to driver calls related to equipment malfunctions
• Explain breakdown procedures and next steps with clarity
• Guide drivers efficiently through resolution

Vendor & Equipment Coordination

• Engage nearby repair facilities and dispatch service quickly
• Arrange towing when necessary
• Secure rental equipment to minimize disruption
• Select the appropriate vendor for the specific repair

Administrative & Financial Oversight

• Audit vendor invoices for accuracy
• Update warranty information in the appropriate systems
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents and repairs

Team Contributions

• Demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance
• Participate in team meetings, training, and learning sessions
• Assist in onboarding/training and provide backup coverage
• Tackle special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2+ years of administrative experience (preferred)

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Tues- Sat 1:30pm - 10pm
• Pay: $18 + shift differential

Work Environment

You’ll be based in a busy manufacturing and distribution center with variable temperatures, moderate to high noise, and material-handling equipment in motion. Expect extended periods on concrete floors and to use PPE (such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots). It’s a fast-paced, safety-sensitive setting that may require varied shifts aligned to production and distribution demands.
