Procurement Specialist North Reading, MA Pay Rate : $29-31 / hour Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Supply Chain / Procurement Specialist to support procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and supply chain operations. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally to ensure materials are available to support business operation. Key Responsibilities esPurchase materials and equipment from suppliers, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory item s.Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs ).Contribute to monthly supplier scorecards and present procurement-related data during quarterly business review s.Plan material requirements, maintain inventory levels, manage schedules within the ERP system, and communicate requirements effectively to supplier s.Identify and monitor supply chain risks, ensuring transparency of material flow throughout the supply chai n.Collaborate with planning and operations teams to communicate supply risks and implement mitigation strategie s.Develop and maintain efficient processes for tracking open purchase orders, expediting orders, and managing delivery schedule s.Support commodity management initiatives by maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance, resolving supply issues, and assisting with new product introduction s.Resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and assist with invoice reconciliation activitie s.Manage supplier returns, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), return material authorizations (RMAs), and material review board (MRB) processe s.Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead cross-functional initiatives to implement enhancement Qualifications nsExperience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, materials planning, inventory control, or a related fiel d.Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detai l.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoin t.Experience working with ERP system s.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skill s.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmen t.Knowledge of data management and database systems is a plu Additional Information onLaptop provide d.Building and network access require d.Collaborative and professional work environmen t.Opportunity to contribute to process improvement and supply chain optimization initiative Equal Employment Opportunity Russell Tobin is an equal opportunity employer.
