Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team and service our hospital locations in Seattle and Ballard, Washington.Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, alternating weekendsJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryMinimum Qualifications:Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)Preferred Qualifications:1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirementValid Driver's License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years oldAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
