About the Position

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist Physician for an exciting 12-day assignment in Kentucky. This role involves 24-hour on-call shifts focusing on inpatient and EMTALA call responsibilities. The physician will be crucial in performing advanced cardiac procedures including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and heart catheterization, ensuring comprehensive cardiac care for adult patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
• Perform general cardiology consults as needed
• Read studies including EKG, ECHOS, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress)
• Execute required procedures:
• Balloon Angioplasties
• Coronary Angioplasty
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Heart Catheterization
• Coronary Angiograms

• Board Certifications: Interventional Cardiology
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Schedule: Inhouse Call, 24 hour on-call shifts (7am - 7am)
• Patients per day: No ambulatory work
• LOA: 12 Days
• Staffing Mix: 2 Interventional Cardiologists in group; other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during coverage
