About the Role
We're looking for a great storyteller behind the timeline.
What You'll Do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage through final delivery
- Shape footage into compelling stories with strong pacing, structure, and flow
- Use B-roll, music, sound design, graphics, text, and other editing techniques to enhance the story
- Create engaging openings and maintain viewer interest throughout each video
- Maintain the channel's established editing style while making each video feel fresh and intentional
- Collaborate directly with the creator and the broader team to incorporate feedback efficiently
- Manage projects independently and consistently meet deadlines
- Deliver polished, upload-ready videos with a high level of attention to detail
- Proven experience editing YouTube or other long-form video content
- Strong storytelling instincts and a natural understanding of pacing and audience retention
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software
- Extreme ownership of your work and high agency
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt well to feedback
- Experience with video essay, documentary, commentary, or other story-driven YouTube content is a strong plus
The Details
- Position: Part-time
- Location: Remote
- Typical Turnaround: 48-72 hours per project
- Software: Adobe Premiere Pro
- Start Date: ASAP

- A portfolio or examples of your previous editing work
- 2-3 examples of YouTube videos you're particularly proud of editing
- A brief note about your experience with long-form YouTube content
