Job Summary and Responsibilities CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our team in Bismarck, ND. This 185 bed, Level II Trauma center provides comprehensive care to the Bismarck/Mandan area and serves as a regional referral center. It has a 14-bed closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist coverage and round the clock Hospitalist service. Practice Details : MDA fellowship is not required Anesthesia team is comprised of 6.4 full-time and 2 PRN physicians as well as 17 CRNAs Coverage of one hospital Broad case mix: Cardiothoracic, Pediatric, General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Neuro, etc Surgical suites, endoscopy suite, cardiac cath labs, PACU, EP lab Care team model with medical direction of CRNAs (exceptbypass cases) Physicians sit cardiac cases (TEE comfortabilitya must) and run labor epidural service EPIC EMR Group prides itself on fair and equitable schedules, vacation, pay, call, and case-mix distribution Wide variety of specialtyprocedures, with a high volume of CV cases 1:6 Call with post-call day off Great leadership and committee opportunities available facility-wide Generous Compensation Benefits : Executive CORE Benefits Package: Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, Retirement, Vacation Malpractice with tail coverage, CME allowance, and more Job Requirements American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible ACLS, BLS, PALS Where You'll Work About CHI St. Alexius Health CHI St. Alexius Health is a Level II Trauma Center and is the largest health care delivery system in central and western North Dakota that is comprised of a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, and critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.
