RN II - ICU / CVICU

San Luis Obispo, CA RN II – ICU / CVICU (CNA Represented) This position is represented by CNA and is for an experienced RN II in the ICU/CVICU setting. The ideal candidate is skilled in critical care nursing and able to respond confidently in both stable and emergent patient situations. Position Overview Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU and CVICU patients Deliver appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent situations Monitor ventilators, hemodynamics, and vasoactive drips Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and quality care protocols Education & Work Experience High School Diploma/GED: Required Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.): Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Successful completion of a Critical Care Nursing course: Required Six (6) months previous critical care experience: Preferred Licenses & Certifications Current California RN license: Required BLS (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS): Required ACL (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQI ACLS): Required TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course): Required within 1 year of hire or transfer Current employees as of 06/30/2021 have 2 years to complete This is an excellent opportunity for a critical care RN seeking to work in a CNA-represented ICU/CVICU role in San Luis Obispo, CA , providing high-level cardiovascular and intensive care services in a collaborative hospital environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
