Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people‑first culture with integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.66 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports. Assist with maintaining an orderly workplace by reporting hazards, damaged property, or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
