Job Description

As a Security Officer Retail Foot Patrol in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly workplace by reporting hazards, damaged property, or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
