Shipping Candidate/Crate Builder Needed

Job Description

We’re hiring a Crate Builder / Shipping Associate to support the shipment of large industrial equipment. This is a hands-on role focused on building custom wooden crates, preparing equipment for shipment, and working with a tight-knit production and shipping team.

What You’ll Do

Build custom wood crates and skids for industrial machinery
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using saws, nail guns, and hand tools
Secure equipment for shipment (blocking, bracing, strapping, wrapping)
Assist with loading and staging freight for outbound shipments
Follow shipping instructions and quality standards to prevent damage
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe

What We’re Looking For

Experience in crate building, carpentry, shipping, or industrial packaging preferred
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and saws
Ability to read basic drawings or shipping instructions
Physically able to lift, move, and position materials and crates
Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
