We are seeking a Shipping Line Clerk to join our DANCO Distribution center, located in Dallas, Texas.

LSP and DANCO (who together are PPG, LLC) are one of the top distributors in the U.S. for plumbing repair and replacement parts. LSP/DANCO sources and distributes parts for virtually every brand of plumbing fixture, including faucets, sinks, tubs and toilets. Key Duties for the role:

• Check outgoing orders against packing slips and invoices.
• Create bills of lading, shipping labels, etc.
• Loading boxes and plumbing products from conveyor lines into outbound trucks and trailers.
• Verify shipment accuracy by matching products, quantities, and shipping labels to assigned routes or destinations.
• Maintain an organized and efficient conveyor line flow to prevent bottlenecks and shipping delays.
• Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and securing freight as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and other warehouse personnel regarding shipment priorities, equipment issues, damaged product and other issues.
• Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to OSHA standards and company safety procedures

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within time constraints, as prescribed by shipping schedule.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently and within time constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills: verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Ability to lift/move at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Outgoing, team player, and a willingness to learn.
• Solid attendance track record.

At DANCO we work 1st Shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday – Friday workweek with the opportunity for overtime when business need dictates.
